Awhile back we stayed at the beautiful Tamaya resort (more pics here) on the Santa Anna Indian Pueblo. It’s a quick drive from our house, so it makes for the perfect getaway spot. Tamaya has some of the best views of the Sandia Mountains in all of New Mexico. Plus every night they light up the fire pits and have a s’more party.
E’s a huge fan of s’mores, so of course we had to bypass our dinner plans one night and have s’mores instead. It was a huge treat! E ate 3 s’mores and thought it was the best supper he had ever had.
After s’mores we wandered along the nature trail, which has the prettiest out look over the river. You may have seen on my Instagram that we snapped the top picture just moments before my phone slipped into the river. It was pretty disappointing, but it gave me an excuse to get a new phone.
It took me a long time to find a trench coat that was affordable, but still high quality and I’m so glad I did. This coat is perfect for fall and spring. It goes with practically everything.
Before we knew it out little getaway was over and we were headed back to the city to get ready for another work day. We’re already planning our next family trip to Tamaya resort, which will included playing in their four amazing pools.
